Media Rep – Rachel Arthur

Rachel’s original manifesto

Elections Pledge:

I have lead SHU Radio this year and with the help of the rest of the team and the union we have gone from nothing to work in conjunction with both Burngreave community radio station and Sheffield live to develop our students skills and broadcast live every Wednesday. We also are using the universities studios to record podcasts so the students have more freedom on what they want to talk about. I wouldn’t have been able to do this without leading the team with confidence and putting a lot of time and energy into SHU radio.
media.

Slogan:

Vote for Rach for SHU media.

What does representation mean to you?

It means that I can have a little more power to make even more of a difference than I have this year. I want to take every ones ideas and bring them together to try and create a SHU Media that’s used by everyone.

What would you see as the main priority if you were elected?

My main priority would be to develop SHU Box like I set up SHU Radio this year.

I stand out as a elected representative because…….

I am driven and am willing to do what ever it takes to make SHU Media work. I have a proven track record and genuine passion for the role.
