Assembly Chair – Ian Hughes

Ian’s original manifesto

Elections Pledge:

I want to make the union as good as possible in the eyes of its students, to make sure their voices are heard and what they say is taken on board and addressed I have gained the skills necessary for this through part time work, I have learnt to deal with issues presented to me in effective ways and make sure any issues presented are dealt with, I’m also an organised person who is good at listening and taking on board peoples issues, which I can then address and sort out. In this role I will do my best to make affective any changes that the people of Hallam want, within reason, I won’t just build a rollercoaster in the union for obvious reasons, no matter how much you want it. I intend to bring change and make sure everyone’s voices are heard, and that any issues you have no matter how small, are dealt with properly.

Slogan:

Your Union Needs Me!

What does representation mean to you?

Making sure everyone’s opinion is heard fairly.

What would you see as the main priority if you were elected?

making sure everyone’s voices are heard no matter how small the problem.

I stand out as a elected representative because…….

I’m tall and wear bright T-shirts
