Fed up already of halls catering, been living off of takeout not found your local supermarket yet?… Then take a chance to explore the markets in town and get a chance to buy and eat local food. The Sheffield Farmers’ Market The Sheffield Farmers’ Market is a great opportunity to meet local producers and sample foods produced in the Yorkshire region. On one Sunday of every month, traders will be standing on Barkers Pool (in between John Lewis and Sheffield City Hall). You will have the chance to buy a wide range of local produce including fresh meats, fruit & vegetables, jams & preserves, breads & cakes and home made soaps.
WDY - Be Active - Wake Boarding
Friday 26th September - Meet outside the Union at 11:00
£20 (Price includes transport, tuition, hire of equipment wetsuit, buoyancy aid and kneeboard).
Get active and try something new with at Sheffield’s Cable Waterski Park situated in the picturesque setting of Rother Valley Country Park. Wakeboarding is one of the world’s fastest growing watersports. You will be able to get out on the water with qualified instructors to take you through the basics of knee boarding if you are successful at then you can then advance to wake boarding. No experience needed for this quality trip out.

WDY - Explore - Walk to the Peaks

Find out just how easy it is to leave city life and get out to the beautiful Peak District. From your doorstep take a walk with a local Ranger through Endcliffe Park out to the Peaks taking in the scenery, information and fresh air. The walk will last approximately 2 hours and anyone is welcome, no experience needed!
