Volunteering

The Language Exchange is a project run by our volunteers which is open to people from the wider community. It gives people the opportunity to teach, learn and share languages.

 The project runs once a month from November through to April on the 1st Tuesday of every month here at the HUBS. Volunteers plan and design the sessions, they also fundraise so they are able to provide refreshments and can afford any other required equipment to run the sessions.  Tables are set up with a flag on each to signify which language it represents. People are then invited to teach, learn or practice a language at the tables. No experience is required to attend!!
