Description
Volunteers will devise and deliver fun sessions where students of all abilities can take part in active and sports based recreational activities. The possibilities are vast and can include Football, Basketball and Table Tennis to Boxing, Karate, Ice Skating and Aikido! If you want to get active and have fun, this project is for you! With over 20 sports activities to choose from, this project allows you to shape and develop an exciting programme of events for other students to get involved in and get active!

Commitment
During this semester (Feb – May 2012) the team will organise and co-ordinate a range of trips for students that enable them to participate in a vast array of activities….Meetings will be once a week and will last approximately 1hr in the initial stages. When the trips get underway volunteer hours will rise dependant on what activities are planned.
Skills Required
You will be organised and motivated and enjoy working as part of a team.

ALL volunteers and Project Leaders need to fill in Evaluation and Handover Forms before they leave for the summer! This is so that during our summer review we can use the gathered feedback on projects and make appropriate changes for next year so as to improve your volunteering experience further.
Here is what you need to fill in:
project volunteers – you just need to fill in the ‘General Volunteer Evaluation Form’.

project leaders and 09/10 support team officers – you need to fill in the ‘Confidential PL or Officer Evaluation Form’ and the ‘PL or Officer Handover Form’. Also, make sure you put session plans and all resources that may be useful for next year in your project/team folder, which are located in the Activities Pod.
