Description
Assisting staff in developing branding for Access space special / temporary projects. Assist in creating posters, logos, graphics for online and printed publicity. Contribute to the design.access-space.org project under supervision from staff. Contribute ideas towards improving the design and branding of wider Access Space permanent projects. Support participants in the space with occasional design related questions where possible. Work with marketing staff and volunteers on new marketing ideas and strategies.
Commitment
This is a 3 month position volunteering 4-8hours a week. 4-8 hour slots between 11am-3pm or 3pm-7pm any day Tuesday – Saturday.
Desirable Skills
Some experience with Linux / free software. Experience working with the public. Experience developing branding.
CRB Requirements
A CRB is required for this opportunity. This can be provided for all home students.

Description
Access Space is the UK’s longest running and most sustainable free, open access digital arts lab. At Access Space, people interested inart, design, computers, recycling, music, electronics, photography and more meet like minded people, share and develop skills and work on creative, enterprising and technical projects. Access Space promotes an informal but productive working environment.
Your role will be assisting in admin procedures including maintaining spreadsheets and filing documents. Contributing to the development of new admin procedures to create best efficiency in the space. Transferring information onto new systems. Helping to increase and maintain tidiness of the office work area.
Commitment
This is a 3 month position volunteering 4hours a week. 4 hour slots between 11am-3pm or 3pm-7pm any day Tuesday – Saturday.
Desirable Skills
Experience of work in an office environment or administrative role.
