Hello Everyone,
If you could send your application forms to us by the 9th October and we will try and get you on your first choice. You will hear back from us/your project leader by the end of October.
You can still apply throughout the year for Individual projects, One Offs and any Team projects that still have available places.
See you all soon for a year packed full of fun!!
If the volunteer opportunity you would like to apply for requires a CRB, please ensure that you bring the relevant documents with you to Sheffield, as we will need to see these in order to complete your CRB. CRB’s will be carried out week beginning 17th October, so please ensure you have your documents in Sheffield by then. For guidance on what documents to bring and for more information about the CRB process, please click here.
If you are interested in becoming a project leader for one of our Team Projects, please let a member of volunteering staff know by e-mailing volunteering@shu.ac.uk.
A Project Leader takes the lead on one of the team projects. As a Project Leader you will inspire and motivate a team of students to organise, plan, fundraise and deliver your project. This is a fantastic development opportunity with the chance to grow as a leader. Full training is provided and you will have the continuous support of a Volunteer Support Worker throughout the year.
A copy of the Project Leader Application Form is available here. Please fill this in alongside the Application Form and Monitoring Form. Thanks!
You can pick up a paper copy of all the forms in the HUBS.
