A.R.T (Art Recycled Trash) is an Aim Higher project in which Hallam University students teamed up with Longley Park Sixth Form students to create a 3D sculpture from recycled trash. The sculpture which has been created consists of the letters ART. All types of recycled rubbish were used, from a recycled drinks can to an unwanted chair. The project shows how recycling can be used in weird and wonderful ways, and that it really is a worth while activity! The project aims to encourage young people to think their education options, and really push themselves to achieve their full potential!
