This opportunity is with Sheffield FC Futsal.
The assistant community coach will assist with the club’s adult and junior coaching sessions.
Duties will include:
To assist in the advanced preparation of coaching sessions.
Ensure that you are aware of any medical conditions or special needs of the participants.
Ensure that you have access to participants emergency contact details at every session.
To work with the Head Coach and Community Coaches in the preparation and running of each session.
To ensure that the training facilities and equipment are safe.
To offer the club feedback on the organisation and degree of success of junior coaching and competitions.
To travel to competitions with the junior team(s).
To inform the Head Coach in advance of any sessions that you cannot attend.
Report accidents / incidents according to club procedures.
Promote clubs codes of conduct.
Follow and promote the club’s Child Protection policy.
2 hours per week during the season.
Level 1 Football qualification is preferable.
Sports Leader Award/Level 1 Futsal qualification is desirable.
A CRB is required for this opportunity. This will be provided by the host organisation.
