What are you most looking forward to this year whilst being on the Stage Services Committee? I’m here and looking forward to helping lead the committee to new levels. I am also looking forward to be there for anyone who needs help and I aim to help to improve communication between stage services and other societies who work with us!!

What do you want to achieve by being on the Stage Services Committee 2012/13? I want to develop further skills and train to use lighting and sound technology. Furthermore if I have time I may try to expand on my visuals skills.

Sounds Executive – Ergun Aslan

The Sounds Executive is responsible for co-ordinating the sounds equipment, maintenance and training in conjunction with the Technical Services Co-ordinator and senior crew.

What are you most looking forward to this year whilst being on the Stage Services Committee? Working with the committee and volunteers, to make stage services a great experience as well as building on my current technical knowledge.

What do you want to achieve by being on the Stage Services Committee 2012/13? Gain a wider understanding of Stage Services tech and develop my skill in this area, to teach others within the committee.

Lights Executive – Billy Harrison

The Lights Executive is responsible for co-ordinating the lighting equipment, maintenance and training in conjunction with the Technical Services Co-ordinator and senior crew.

What are you most looking forward to this year whilst being on the Stage Services Committee? Teaching and mentoring new techies on how to make things look amazing just by using light.

What do you want to achieve by being on the Stage Services Committee 2012/13? I’d like to make sure that anyone who wants to get into the industry as a techie gets the best opportunities that I can offer.
If one of the people that I teach goes on to light a big show then my work here will be done.

Visuals Executive – Simon Taylor

The Visuals Executive is responsible for co-ordinating the visuals equipment, maintenance and training in conjunction with the Technical Services Co-ordinator and senior crew.

What are you most looking forward to this year whilst being on the Stage Services Committee? I am looking forward to working with the graphic designer to bring the venues visuals up to date.

What do you want to achieve by being on the Stage Services Committee 2012/13? I’d like to gain more experience in live visuals for events, using different software solutions to achieve a decent looking outcome.

Ents/Tech Liaison Officer – Vacant

This position maintains relations and passes information between the Entertainments Committee and the Stage Service Committee

Training Officer – Jamie Whiteley

The Training Officer is responsible for organising training to improve the skills and knowledge of members.
