Women’s rugby is a fast growing unique sport. Women from any background, body shape and size are more than welcome. Rugby is a great way to get fit, keep in shape and meet new friends.
Here at Sheffield Hallam we take our training and games seriously which is shown in lasts years achievements including, winning the Northern Conference 2B with an undefeated season, and winning the Northern Conference Cup. Not forgetting winning team of the year at the 2011 Sheffield Hallam Sports Ball!

Rugby is just as much about the social side as well as the playing and we have regular socials including nights out, casual drinks, watching Rugby games and going to the gym.

We welcome all at Hallam women’s rugby regardless of your level of skill and experience.

If you feel that Rugby may be the sport for you please come along and give it a try, it may be the best thing you ever do!

Cost

Every member of the club must purchase a Team Hallam membership for £85, which is for a full year. This is available to purchase from the reception desk at either of the two Sport Hallam sports facilities. Once paid, please remember to register via the Sports Union Home Page to make your payment valid!

Match fees are £3 – this goes towards match food after the game, referee’s fees, match facilities and travel.
