Women’s Basketball

Here at Sheffield Hallam Women’s Basketball club we are passionate about our sport! We currently have two teams competing in BUCS and welcome new players of all abilities to come and take part. We hold sessions for both competitive and social level basketball and our teams are mixed from first year students to students in their final year and all players are given the opportunity of court time throughout the year. Although we work hard on the court, we do enjoy weekly socials on a Wednesday night which feature fun fancy dress themes and chance to get to know each other off the court. As well as the Wednesday socials we hold other team events such as bowling and going out for meals.

Getting Started

To be part of Hallam Women’s Basketball all we ask is for a smile and commitment from every member.

Cost

Every member of the club must purchase a Team Hallam membership for £85, which is for a full year. This is available to purchase from the reception desk at either of the two Sport Hallam sports facilities. Once paid, please remember to register via the Sports Union Home Page to make your payment valid!

A small one off payment will be required from each player for affiliation (TBC < £25)

Training

First team: 6-8pm Monday @ EIS, Sheffield
Second Team: 5-6.30pm Tuesday @ Pearson Building, Collegiate Campus
