Sheffield Hallam University Sub Aqua Club (SHUSAC) is a student club affiliated to the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) – a Scuba Diving organisation. The club takes in around 20-25 new trainees per year. Within the first year of membership, each member is trained to achieve the first qualification of Ocean Diver, with further opportunities for progressing to higher levels.
The club is very active hosting many socials and dive trips around the UK. We have annual training trips to Malta and qualified trips to the Red Sea in Egypt. New and qualified divers are welcome to apply and crossovers from PADI and other diving organisations are not a problem.
If you want to see the world from another perspective; be it reef, shipwreck or shark diving, then come see us at the Fresher’s Fair and book a try dive. If you get the urge…Submerge!

Our club (as students) is one of the cheapest ways to learn to scuba dive. We also spread out the costs so it’s easier on our wallets.
