An oar-some time awaits you with Sheffield Hallam Rowing Club! We are more than just terrible puns – whether you are an experienced rower or new to a sport which demands fitness, dedication and good fun!
The team are devoted to getting the best from all new members and ensuring that you fit in with us. The result could see you compete in head races and regattas up and down the country and move to a level of fitness which brings out your best performances. Our “novice” crews, men and women, represent Hallam exceptionally well, even at the large regattas, and have earned trophies and medals through the year.
We are not about competition or elitism, we are a club for the individual and quite happy if you prefer to row for enjoyment or fitness. Skill and fitness training can be as tough as you want and there is a full support programme to help you achieve your rich potential through your time at Hallam. But always remember, sport is for enjoyment and that’s what we offer at Sheffield Hallam Rowing!
