Sports Union Model Constitution and Club Officer Roles and Responsibilities
Here you will find the documents you need to plan a successful club trip.
Please read the following;
• Prepare – Clubs must notify the Sports Union of their intention to go on a trip at least 2 weeks prior to the trip taking place. This helps us to process any entries and payments, ensure all paperwork is completed, book transport and accommodation, feedback any concerns or request more information, and overall support the trip leaders. Please don’t leave it until the last minute to tell the Sports Union about your trip, especially where payment is required.
• Plan – If your trip requires hired transport this 2 week timeframe still does not gaurentee that it will be available so clubs are encouraged to forward plan as much as possible and ensure your have have budgeted properly for the trip.
• Access Support – A trip meeting can be requested with Gary or Joel to help you plan your trip but it is not essential, however in some circumsances they will be essential in order for the trip to be authorised and this judgement will be made by the Sports Union.
