Tim Hannigan Selected to Represent Northern Region at English Universities Football Trial

He will represent our region at the English Universities Regional Tournament from 21-22 December 2009 at Warwick University. There will be a round robin competition between the Northern, Midland and Southern Universities, with the best players being invited back for an English Universities Training Camp on 4 & 5 January 2010

Olympic-level skater goes for gold with local bright sparks

Ice dancer Christina Chitwood, originally from America, studied Performing Arts at Sheffield Hallam University to improve her creative score for when she competes in the Olympics with skating partner Mark Hanretty. For full story click here.

Ros canters to success at World Uni Games

Former Sheffield Hallam student Rosalind Canter recently won silver in the show jumping discipline at the World University Equestrian Championships held in Algeria.  Ros is a former member of the Women’s Hockey Club and also competed in the Equestrian World University Championships in 2007.
