Sports Activities

The Olympic and Paralympic Games is the largest sporting event in the world, involving10,500 Olympic athletes and 4,200 Paralympic athletes from over 200 countries.

The London 2012 Olympic Games will take place from 27 July to 12 August, and the Paralympic Games from 29 August to 9 September. During London 2012 26 Olympic sports with take place in 34 venues and 20 Paralympic sports will take place in 21 venues.

What a fantastic reason to get involved in sport in 2012! Whether it’s linking in to a national London 2012 project or volunteering at a local level there is something for everyone who loves sport at Hallam Union!
