The British University &
Colleges Sports Championships is returning to Sheffield for the 3rd year in a row – and also for the 3rd year in a row – Sheffield’s No1. Saturday student night welcomes is the OFFICIAL party venue for the tournament!
Presenting a night of floor filling chart anthems, dance, R’n’B and indie over 2 rooms, all BUCS participants get entry for £1 by showing their BUCS accreditation (and can get entry from 10:30pm for a bit of a private shindig before Sheff 1 opens to regular customers!).
This event usually sells out in advance so get your tickets early! Advance tickets are available from Pod 4 and Nursery Tavern on Ecclesall Road.

The Antics are Sheffield’s fastest growing improvised comedy troupe.
Inspired by such shows as ‘Whose Line?’ and ‘Mock the Week’, The Antics offer a hilariously fresh and exciting show. Expect to see some of your old favourites mixed with exclusive never-before-seen Antics games, in this side-splitting, wildly entertaining show.

The launch party is the place you can find out first about who will be playing at the Summer Slam end of year festival in May! The launch is FREE entry, with a FREE glass of champagne!
Starting at 10pm (just before Pounded) we’ll be announcing the line-up, which so far consists of a big name celeb DJ, a current charting girl group, a DJ set from a much hyped up coming indie band in room two, and loads more attractions – with still more yet to be confirmed…
You’ll also be able to snap up one of only 100 early bird tickets for just £10 – well worth the effort for coming down!
Also on offer to anyone buys a ticket will be a wristband for free entry into Pounded following it, and access to buy an Event Pass for £20 which will give you entry to every Pounded and Sheff 1 until the end of May! (That’s £37 worth of advance ticket buying!).
