Nominations have now closed for: 6 x Hallam Student Officers (full-time paid positions).
Information on candidated running for election will be uploaded shortly.
Student Representatives are here to make the Union a better place for everyone. It’s their job to find out what students want out of the Union and then help make those changes.
Full time paid officers are students who have just finished their course, or have taken a years sabbatical or break from their course to work full time in the Union representing students and making sure the Union offers all the services that students want.
They spend their year gathering student opinion then feeding this back into any decisions that are made within the Union. The Officers run campaigns on issues that students identify as affecting them and help organise large events like student week, the housing fair and Varsity. This opportunity will look great on your CV and give you loads to talk about in job interviews too!
