Sharrow is a vibrant area with lots of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. There are lots of things going on and if your a student living in the area, there are loads of ways you can get involved with the local community.

Come along to our open public meeting to discuss the results of a ‘Community Audit’ Hallam Union conducted last year to find out what local residents’, both students and longer term residents, thought about their area and what improvements they would like to see. Rhiannon and Megan, the Community Reps for Sharrow will then  lead on a project or event in the area based on the results of the audit and the discussions at the meeting.

The date for the Sharrow meeting is yet to be confirmed but please keep checking for details or email uuscommunity@shu.ac.uk to be kept up to date with what’s happening.
