The Don’t Panic Don’t Sign campaign is all about encouraging students not to sign for rented housing too early and without making some basic checks. We know rumours that you have to sign early to get a good place are everywhere but it simply is not true- Sheffield actually has a surplus of rented housing so there is more than enough for everyone.

As part of the Don’t Panic, Don’t Sign campaign Carl Hawkes, your Welfare and Community Officer for 2011/12 is organising Hallam’s second housing fair on Tuesday 29th November from 10am-4pm in the HUBS so you can meet with reputatble landlords and make an informed choice about where you are going to live.
