Hallam Union Welcomes New Officers
Hallam Union welcomed their new Sabbatical Officers today as they embarked on an emotional 2 week handover. The new Officers led by former Academic Affairs Executive Dani Beckett will spend the next 2 weeks getting to grips with their roles and getting to know the place that will become their lives over the next year.
Joining Dani on the committee are former URC Chair Sam Brown (Academic Affairs), Bar Phoenix DJ and Events Photographer Tom Waltho (Finance and Services), Sexual Health campaigner and Greatsexpectations founder Dan Pine (Equal Opps) and returning Sports Executive Sam Gill (Sports).
The team are set to have an challenging but exciting year as the Union prepares to implement its new governance structures and processes.
During the next two weeks we will also be saying goodbye to Russell Swannack (President 08/09) and David Roy Carr (Finance and Services 08/09) who are leaving us to pursue their respective careers.
