The Annual Sports Ball is the one night of the year where all of the Sheffield Hallam Sports Clubs come together to celebrate and recognise sporting achievement at Sheffield Hallam.

Frequently asked questions:
Do I have to take my ticket to the event?
Yes, all guests need to take their ticket to the event. Guests who purchase tickets online will have their tickets posted to the person who bought the tickets.
Can non-sports club members purchase tickets?
Yes, they can either sit with a club or form a table of their own if there is a large enough group (8 or more). Friends, family, partners, Union and University staff, and alumni are all welcome to attend.
When is the last date for purchasing a ticket?
Friday 18th May 2012.

Take a trip to Manchester’s thriving city centre, home to hundreds of restaurants, shops, cafes and bars. The trip includes a guided tour of the world famous Old Trafford Football Stadium.

Prior to the London 2012 Olympic Games, the Olympic Torch will spend 70 days touring the UK. The Torch arrives in Sheffield for an evening celebration, on Monday, June 25th.
During the afternoon there will be lots of exciting activities which you can get involved in to celebrate the torch passing through the city. Afternoon activities will include;
- Alternative Olympics
- Arts and Craft workshops
- Cultural carnival – culture sharing, costume making
- Creating legacy promise trees
- Performances from the community
