The law says that goods you buy must match their description, be of satisfactory quality, and be fit for their purpose. Some of your rights may be lost if you keep the goods too long, so return them as soon as you notice the fault. Most goods bought over the internet can be cancelled and returned within 7 days of purchase and you will receive a full refund. Remember to be careful for internet scams and use trusted sites. To read more on this issue click here.

Most stores allow you to return items within 28 days however this is a contractual right not a statutory right, so if the store does not operate the policy you may not get a replacement or refund. If you are dissatisfied with a service provided you should contact the company involved clearly stating what your complaint is about, and how you would like it to be resolved.
