Every penny you spend in our outlets is re-invested back into the Union – it really is that simple.  This may be for funding community projects, the advice centre or the student rep system, in a nutshell – it is all about Hallam students.

Hallam Union is home to Bar Phoenix and the new POD4 development so catering for all your needs – whether that be having a pint after a hard day at Uni or catching up with friends over a coffee. Our priority is to provide safe social spaces for all Hallam Students.

We’re proud of what we do, but we rely on our members to let us know what we’re doing right and what we’re doing wrong.

Pod4

The laid back atmosphere of Pod4 is the perfect place to come and relax. Pod4 combines a café, stylish seating area and the union shop. The café serves everything from fair trade coffees, milkshakes, soups, panninis, salads and smoothies; and the shop sells snacks, packaged sandwiches, stationery, and that all important hallam hoodie! You can even pick up some paracetamol with your morning coffee to survive the morning after!
